We use biomimetic, vegan silk proteins in some of our products. These are produced using a biotechnological process based on plant proteins and are modeled on the structure of spider silk. Spider silk exhibits a particularly strong structural similarity to the skin's own keratin and collagen. This allows vegan silk proteins, based on the blueprint of spider silk, to form an excellent gel film that sits light as a feather and almost unnoticeably on the skin. This gel film makes the skin appear smoother and firmer, while also giving it a soft and silky feel.
